  • Our camp day is much more energetic and exhausting than a normal school day for the kids. They move and run around constantly. There’s no sitting down in chairs in classrooms. So they get a lot more tired. Because of this, if a camper is staying after 2PM for Extended Camp, we do have an hour nap for those campers younger than 5 years old, and a 25-minute rest time where we tell stories for the campers 5-6 years old.

    1. All campers must pack an extra change of clothes.

    2. If your camper needs an EpiPen or other medication, bring what is necessary to camp. It will be kept at the front office in the medical room and administered by camp medical staff as directed.

    3. Rain-appropriate clothes on days it might rain

    4. A reusable water bottle

    5. Pack a lunch if not eating the free lunch option provided at camp

    6. Pack a snack if not eating the free snack option provided at Extended Camp

    7. Fridays are fun days; you will be advised to pack any special items or clothes that may be needed for these days.

    1. Campers will be given 2 camp group T-shirts which must be worn each day of camp.

    2. Appropriate shoes, shirts, and shorts or pants are to be worn at all times.

    3. All clothing must be neat, clean, and acceptable in appearance, without tears or holes, and must be worn within the bounds of decency and good taste as appropriate for all Camp events.

    4. Items of clothing that expose bare midriffs (including two-piece bathing suits), bare chests, undergarments (short shorts), and which are transparent (see-through) are prohibited. Tank tops are permitted as long as they fit within all other guidelines.

    5. Articles of clothing that display profanity, products, or slogans that promote tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or sex, or are in any other way distracting or inappropriate, are prohibited.

    6. Clothing that advertises any gang symbols or affiliation is prohibited.

    7. Also, campers need to be able to move and play actively. Thus, excessively baggy or tight clothing is just not a good plan.
